April Events!

Whilst the rebrand will not fully come into effect until next semester, our new site is now largely functional, so we are taking the opportunity to test it by advertising some of our exciting upcoming events. Details of these events were shared in the email newsletter sent to current mentees and mentors, but, if you did not receive that email, you can find the information below.

April 20th 15:00 – Board Games Night

The QA Programme Lounge

Join us in the QA Lounge (Ground Floor, Building 22, South Campus), for some of your favourite board games. There will be snacks, tea and great company. For those of you who aren’t yet familiar with the lounge, or who want a relaxed environment to socialise with mentees and mentors from other groups, this is a perfect opportunity – and you don’t even have to leave campus. The event starts at 15:00, but the lounge will be open as usual, so people are free to arrive later or earlier, as suits their needs. Participation is, of course, free.

April 26th 15:00 – Museum Trip (Glyptoket)

Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, Dantes Plads 7, 1556 København

Visit one of Copenhagen’s most beloved museums!  The New Carlsberg Glyptotek is home not only to a vast collection of antique sculptures from ancient civilisations across the Mediterranean, but also to a considerable number of more recent artworks, including a large selection of French Impressionist paintings, as well as several works originating in Denmark.

To ensure that we maximise the amount of time available before the museum closes, we will meet outside the entrance at 15:00 sharp.  If you are not able to join at this time, you are, of course, welcome to meet us inside; simply let us know in advance, so that we can keep an eye out for you.  Entrance to the museum is free on Tuesdays.

That’s everything from us for now, but we look forward to learning more about the future of the mentor programme and we hope to see many of you at our events later this month.
